Thank you so much, for every phone call, every door knocked, every encouraging word and message of support. We may not have achieved the outcome we hoped for, but I could not be prouder of the campaign we ran and the community we’ve built along the way.

First, I want to extend my congratulations to Savet. Running for public office is no small feat, and I respect the work she has done to earn the trust of our community. Our differences in approach only emphasize the shared commitment we both have to see Connecticut thrive.

Throughout this journey, I have been humbled by the passion and dedication of so many people. To my family and friends—thank you for your unwavering support and patience. To my incredible team of volunteers and supporters—you are the heart of this campaign. Your hard work, your optimism, and your commitment to positive change inspired me every single day. We knew that this race was about more than a single victory; it was about giving a voice to the issues that matter deeply to us all.

While we didn’t cross the finish line, our message was heard, and our movement endures. We stand for quality education for all, economic prosperity for CT residents and businesses, and recognizing the importance of local control as best practice for zoning. Those values remain as vital as ever. I am committed to continuing to advocate for these causes because the work doesn’t end here.

Our community is at its best when we lift each other up and focus on the future we want for our families, our neighbors, and our state. Together, we have built a foundation of engagement and optimism that I know will continue to make a difference.

So while we may feel some disappointment, let’s also feel hope—hope that we can still create positive change, no matter where we are or what title we hold. We must continue to keep believe that Connecticut’s best days are ahead, and I am grateful to each and every one of you for believing in that vision with me.
